this is (by far) my favorite thing i have ever read in the narnia fandom.
and i've never even really liked pevensiecest but then i read this and I DIED.
also, coherency. find it. okay.
i'm really, really trying to pick my favorite part but the whole thing is just SO AMAZING. i just can't stop myself from reading it over and over and over.
this line though
"The rain beats on the window behind Lucy’s head, but she doesn’t appear to notice.One look at her tells Susan that she’s remembering."
stops my heart. and i dont even know WHY. i swear though, i find joy in the most random parts.
"Lucy shakes her head." should not make me as happy as it does. but for some reason... i can see that whole scene playing in my head so clearly and i love it so hard.
also, the "Nightmares" section with lucy and edmund and peter, just GUH. i actually think it might be my favorite.
i also like the idea that perhaps the pevensies got together more outside of narnia than in it. i've always thought that if they got on at all it would be in Narnia and then when they fell back it would be all "well, crap. we should probubly stop this now." but the idea that they got back and were all sad and lonely and NO ONE else is good enough and the only way they can really remember narnia is through eachother, makes so much SENSE.
